Why Gateway?

“A generation ago the forward-looking leaders of the Missouri District of the United Pentecostal Church founded a college to develop men and women for ministry. Gateway College of Evangelism has been faithful to this founding vision. Hundreds of men and women have spread out across North America and around the world carrying the Oneness Pentecostal message.”
–Stan Gleason, MO District Superintendent / Gateway Foundation Member

Since its inception, Gateway has provided quality education for ministry-minded young people. Why Gateway? We offer diverse degree programs, valuable ministry opportunities, and a committed faculty and staff to help you develop your ministry. Degree Programs

Gateway offers a wide range of academic tracks for students. There’s literally something for everyone. Are you passionate about church music, pastoral studies, biblical and theological studies, or elementary education? Gateway offers a four-year bachelor degree in Christian ministry with emphasis in each of these fields.

Are you interested in the Bible college experience but unable to commit to four years? Our two-year associate degree of Biblical and General Studies featuring a broad spectrum of biblical and general education courses may be just right for you. Our academic advisors will be happy to meet with you and help you determine the right academic track to meet your needs.

Ministry Opportunities

While receiving formal education, Gateway students also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on training. Gateway dispatches outreach teams throughout the school year to minister in various communities and churches. Additionally, pending their pastors’ permission, internships can be arranged for students with an interest in serving in a church over the summer. If you’re interested in ministry, Gateway will put you on the front lines for practical evangelistic opportunities.

Faculty

The faculty is an integral part of the tight-knit Gateway family. These men and women are highly qualified in their fields and have many years of combined teaching experience. Beyond this, our faculty’s genuine burden for developing the future leaders of the kingdom drives the college’s overall commitment to excellence.
